Delivery & Assessment Context:
This program is delivered off-the-job at our Institute and 'on the job' in our salon Odyssey Nails Hair & Beauty.
It combines face-to-face training, led theory classes and practical sessions involving small groups and individual activities. For each module, candidates purchase a manual, which include all materials used in the training sessions, assessment materials (other than tests) and reference materials. Training and assessment is conducted both in a friendly classroom setting and a real salon environment. Training might include but is not limited to practical workshop, written work, group discussion, debate and practical work on clients. It is the practice on real clients that will make the student’s learning experience unique. This not only gives the necessary confidence in a variety of situations, but also will give the possibility to apply, in a practical way, what has been taught in class.
Work placement: As a mandatory part of this course, you will need to participate in workplace training.
Materials: Learning materials are available on line free of charge or in hard copy for a minimum fee. Additional materials might be required to be purchases
