Qualification Title: Certificate in design and apply makeup (Statement of attainment in SIB30110 Certificate III in Beauty Services).

Description: Make up application course is suitable if you are wishing to design and apply personal make up including everyday and bridal.

Entry requirements: There are no entry requirements to this qualification.

Once complete you will be able to provide all aspect of makeup application including:

• Identify and explain contraindications
• Assess client’s skin type and condition to determine appropriate product application
• Identify suitable cleansing products for client’s skin type
• Eye and Lip techniques
• Colour theory and skin tone
• Natural makeup application
• Business makeup application
• Evening / glamour makeup
• Classic Bride

Delivery and assessment context: Training and assessment is conducted both in a friendly classroom setting and a simulated salon environment. Assessment  is conducted by observation and make up application technique and understanding of the different looks. You are also required to complete a make up portfolio to be evaluated.
