The Victorian Government has committed $52 Million to Skill for Growth program to provide you with your choice of an independent specialist, at no cost, to work with you and your staff and to provide you and your staff the most effective program delivered by the most successful RTO in the Beauty and Hair Industry.
Melbourne Institute of Nails & Beauty is now partnering with Pacific Personnel who will provide a team of qualified specialist who have extensive experience in the Beauty and Hair Industry to guide your business to success.
About the program
The independent specialist will assist you to:
Identify your business objectives and priorities;
- Assess the skill needs of your business and your employees;
- Establish a customised workforce training and development plan
- in line with your strategic business goals;
- Facilitate staff placement into accredited training; and
- Review the overall program outcomes.

What are the costs?
You do not pay for the workforce planning and training specialist service. The cost of any subsequent vocational training will be met by you, but in many cases this cost will be subsidised by the Victorian Government through the Victorian Training Guarantee.
The Victorian Training Guarantee entitles eligible Victorians to a subsidised place in a recognised vocational education and training course. Eligibility will be further explained by your workforce planning and training specialist.
Service Providers
Businesses who register skills for growth will be contacted by an independent workforce planning and training specialist from the Service Provider you select.
The panel of Service Providers has been appointed by the Victorian Government and has a wide range of expertise across a variety of industries and regions. Some of the matters you may wish to consider when selecting a Service Provider include industry knowledge and expertise, area of operation and referral from another business.
Who can apply?
The Skills for Growth Program is open to eligible Victorian-based small and mediumsized businesses from all industries. To be eligible for this program, your business must employ between 1 to 200 staff, have been in operation for at least 12 months and be financially viable.

The Skills for Growth Program is part of the Victorian Government’s $316 million Securing Jobs for Your Future - Skills for Victoria initiative to provide Victoria with a better vocational education and training system.
